EXECUTIVE LEADER OF ALLIED HEALTH AND SUPPORT SERVICES

Hôpital Notre-Dame Hospital (Hearst) is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Leader of Allied Health and Support Services to oversee a wide range of clinical and support departments, including Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, Physiotherapy, Respiratory Therapy & ECG, NADEC, Clinical Nutrition, Maintenance, Food Services, Laundry, and Housekeeping.

As a key member of our Leadership Committee and other strategic groups, the Executive Leader plays a vital role in ensuring efficient, high-quality, and patient-centered services aligned with the Hospital’s mission, vision, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction across multiple departments.
  • Oversee departmental planning, performance, staffing, budgets, and quality initiatives.
  • Promote innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in patient care and support services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Foster a healthy and inclusive workplace culture focused on safety, service excellence, and staff engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with medical, administrative, and support teams to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Co-lead Emergency and Disaster Management programs.
  • Report to and advise the CEO on departmental priorities and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, with 3–5 years of experience in hospital operations.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in data-informed decision-making, performance metrics, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of and experience with accreditation, licensing, and regulatory requirements.

Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is $111,540 to $130,962 annually plus benefits.
